Shift Linkage Set, Cable, Ididit, 1964-78 A-Body / 1978-88 G-Body, 2" GM Column. If you have worn-out or are missing the shift linkage from the bottom of the steering column to the transmission, here's the "trick" replacement from IDIDIT. Assemblies are available for the IDIDIT or GM 2" diameter columns. They include a 6-foot Morse cable and column and transmission brackets for an easy installation. Some applications may benefit from this assembly where headers and OEM column shift linkage will not work together. With not work on Powerglide or 4L80E automatic transmission.
