Whether you're converting from a 2-speed or 3-speed automatic transmission to a 3-speed or 4-speed OD automatic, these kits will allow you to use your stock console and shifter. In the 1965-66 conversion kit, you convert from a rod shifter linkage to a cable shift linkage with all of the parts, including the cable, available from OPGI. When converting from a 2-speed console shifter to a TH350/TH400 3-speed automatic in 1967-69 cars, or converting a 3-speed console shifter in the 1967-72 cars to a 4-speed overdrive 200-4R, 700-R4 or 4L60 transmission, it includes a new shift detent and lens as part of the kit. The 1970-72 conversion kit is for Cutlass dual gate only and is equipped for cars that have 700-R4, 200-4R or 4L60—all hardware and cables included.
